New research shows homeowners have one subject on their mind, according to eco paint specialist Victory Colours: autumn.

Pinterest shows searches for the term ‘cozy autumn aesthetic’ are up 600% over a month, while searches ‘autumn bedroom’ and ‘autumn décor’ are up 200% and ‘autumn room’ is up 100% over the same period.

Victoria Yardley, Managing Director of Victory Colours, said: “Autumn might have been delayed ever so slightly thanks to a final splurge of summer, but there is no doubt customers are now looking bring warmth into their homes using rich, earthy shades.

“Oranges, coppers and burnt reds are ideal hues for adding heat.”

Victoria added: “Brooding blues are going to be one of the most popular shade this winter, and orange is a great shade to bring through some warmth. Orange and blues work beautifully together and will create a stunning interior scheme that wows.”
