New residential ensemble near the Rhine creates modern living space for Cologne - Hitzler Ingenieure Düsseldorf is accompanying the construction project housing

Hitzler Ingenieure also impresses with its project management services in the area of residential construction: Industria Wohnen GmbH commissioned Hitzler Ingenieure with quality monitoring and construction controlling for their new residential complex on Bertoldistraße in Cologne-Mülheim on the right bank of the Rhine. After only two years of construction, the residential buildings at Bertoldistraße 17 and 13-15 with 77 and 76 apartments were handed over to Industria Wohnen.
"Even before the building was handed over in June 2020 and at the beginning of this year, all of the apartments in the Bertoldi Gardens in Cologne-Mülheim were rented," says the responsible construction controller at Hitzler Ingenieure Düsseldorf, Mersin Kurbasevic. “As a project manager, we take care of the timely progress and the assurance of quality requirements throughout the project. We succeeded in doing this. After only two years of construction, Hitzler Ingenieure is responsible for the quality and timely construction and operation of the six modern residential buildings. "
On the original industrial site in Cologne-Mülheim not far from the Mülheim city garden, a 5-storey residential building of medium height and two 4-storey buildings with a total of 77 apartments and 52 parking spaces were built in Bertoldistraße 17 from October 2018 to June 2020 built. The ground floors of the houses can be reached without thresholds and are barrier-free. The buildings with a total floor space of around 5,300 m² all have direct access to the basement rooms and the closed underground car park. In the immediate vicinity, at Bertoldistraße 13-15, 76 additional apartments were built between May 2019 and January 2021 in three 5- and 4-storey buildings (total floor space: approx. 5,400 m²) as well as an underground car park with 57 parking spaces. "The apartments convince with bright, floor-to-ceiling windows and spacious balconies and terraces," explains Mersin Kurbasevic, "we are very pleased to be part of this great residential ensemble project."
The residential complex in the Bertoldi Gardens with its 1- to 3.5-room apartments is optimally connected to local public transport. Cologne Central Station can be reached in five minutes by S-Bahn, and the A3 and A4 motorways are around ten minutes away by car. Kita and kindergarten as well as elementary school, comprehensive school and grammar school are located within less than a kilometer.
