Vaillant enters into cooperation with FLECK
Medium-sized family company from the Ruhr area meets international traditional company from the Bergisches Land
The origins of the Vaillant Group go back to 1874 - today the company is known worldwide as the market and technology leader for heating, ventilation and air conditioning. In the search for a manufacturer for a horizontal roof passage that can be used for the decentralized "recoVAIR VAR 60" ventilation system, the company, headquartered in Remscheid, entered into a partnership with FLECK. The roof accessories manufacturer developed a passage with a 90-degree incline especially for Vaillant to enable air to be exchanged over the roof.
Unique solution for ventilation of attic spaces
In recent years, FLECK has succeeded in expanding its position as an innovation leader with products such as the ROOFGUARD leaf sieve or ROOF SUPER DRY. With its latest product development, the specialist for roof accessories based in Datteln once again proves how flexibly it can react to new market trends: "We are very pleased that we can now offer Vaillant's end customers a unique solution with our horizontal roof duct , in order to achieve optimized ventilation of roof spaces without an external wall,” reports Peter Nowack, product manager at FLECK. Another advantage of the horizontal roof duct is the drainage of the condensate to the outside. This eliminates the internal condensate drain that is otherwise necessary with vertical roof ducts, as well as the associated structural measures.
Easy integration of the ventilation system into any building
The recoVAIR VAR 60 can be easily integrated into any building. Because it does not require an air duct system, this ventilation system is particularly suitable for retrofitting and modernization. The ventilation unit is installed room by room and ensures controlled ventilation of individual rooms or in a group of devices for controlled ventilation of entire living areas and buildings. To ensure that no energy is lost, recoVAIR VAR 60 works according to the principle of regenerative heat recovery. The thermal energy of the outgoing exhaust air is temporarily stored in a ceramic heat accumulator and released to the incoming supply air.
Optimum integration into the existing roof surface thanks to customization
With FLECK, optimal integration of the horizontal roof duct into the existing surface of a pitched roof is guaranteed by the possibility of individualization. The product can be made to fit almost 300 types of roofing tiles and is always painted in the color of the respective roofing. FLECK has developed its own configurator for this product (fleck-dach.de/services) to ensure a smooth coordination process in the offer and planning phase between FLECK, the specialist trade and specialist trade as well as Vaillant.
